Is it me or are a lot of web designers ripping of the Apple design these days?

Are they just inspired by it or is it just as bad as this:
Sooner or later I´m guessing Apple will have to reinvent their layout not to look like a parody of theirselves.

thats what i said the other week.
i think QBN as a site works great - simple, easy to use, the comments on posts thing is a cool addition and you can tell there are a lot of really sweet components that have been "considered" and designed.
the creative database IS a great idea, i just expected something a bit more.
i got kicked in the balls for saying so though.

Apple is continuing an excellent modern design tradition in the footsteps of design predecessors, such as Braun. Inspired, yes. An homage here and there, sure. Apple somehow manages to stay unique and faithful to form and function while others just seem to copy.
