Business attire?
Yeah, I could post another picture of a douche bag or some dumbass wearing a ridiculous tuxedo, but I've decided to help you.Even if you're not rich, it's good to have something nice, and it's worth the investment. Fortunately there are some good sales right now. You could easily hop into a Banana Republic or Express Men, pick out a nice shirt and pants and be on your way. Go to something like Macy's if you want a cheaper out (but more hunting) or something more designer if you can afford to.
Never forget decent shoes. Classic black or brown and clean.

Yeah, you don't have to get a suit, a nice pair of trousers and a nice shirt is fine.

where i work business attire means Nice jeans (sans holes or ripped cuffs), and a decent button up shirt. if you want to dress it up further find a cool sports jacket (the simpler the better). i even wear chucks with a get up like this, but they area always clean/newish.
i've never seen or heard of a creative in an office having to put on a tie or a suit, it's just not necessary. Business attire means professional looking, and you don't need a suit to look professional.
- Jeans are too casual for normal business attire.monospaced
- what is "normal" business attire? everyone in NYC where's jeans and a blazer for business meetings.. soanxious_arms
- ..i guess it also matters where you are located.anxious_arms
- I live and work in NYC and I guarantee that business (even casual) does not include jeans.monospaced
- yeah, no jeans. That's fine in a creative shop but most people do not associate Jeans with business attire.Jnr_Madison

Whatever you go with, make sure it fits well....that is the most important thing to focus to look good imo. See a seamstress if what you but doesn't fit good.
