RSS feeds question :

  iam wondering, when you read the news of a specific website in a RSS reader, does it count in the traffic statistics of that website?

  depends on how you're counting traffic. if you've got RSS.PHP or whatever, each time you hit it will read as a page view... but if you're not watching traffic at the server level and are using google analytics or something, then it won't show.

  Sure, your server will be able to tell you how many times any file has been accessed, but for more relevant data you can use a service like FeedBurner http://www.feedburner.com
