CNBC's Rick Santelli delivers a verbal smackdown to Barry Obama on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange with traders cheering him on. I've watched this about 15 times already, it never gets old.

not as dramatic as you make it out to be

Let's face the facts - 90% of Americans are either paying their mortgage or don't have one. We didn't use our homes as ATM machines. We didn't lie about our incomes. We played by the rules and do not have bone-crushing debt loads.
- i'd say losing your job to cutbacks would be pretty bone-crushing.a_iver

That guy is probably just excited because he can't wait to get home and watch Jar Squatter again.

Wait, so traders on the floor of the stock exchange are an average cross-section of America? Who knew.
Oh and welcome back, hedge...

When you attack the Street, you attack America. The livelihood of the two are inextricably linked. Why do most politicians not understand this?

I watched that live. He said what a ton of people feel - we pay our mortgages on time, didn't over extend our finances or buy 5000 sq. ft. homes thinking they would be quick investments. So why do we have to pay for people that bought homes far beyond their means?
So even if we keep them in these homes, they are getting a break we didn't.
Makes me bitter.
But I also realize that if housing doesn't reach a bottom and stabilize, that the economy will never get back on track.
I guess like some politician said on cnbc sometime in response to this rant, 'sometimes you have to support those you don't want to to get things working again'.
Nothing fair about this mess we're in, on any side.
- Not too exciting, many on there have been bitchin' about this for weeksformed

Video video video, get a beer, come back, video still playing.
I guess what I'm wondering is, more than anything super duper provocative about this video, is your use of Barry Obama. I mean is that supposed to be some tongue in cheek, cutesy term for Barack Obama? You cant be bothered to say Barack, so you say Barry?
I think I get it. It's bloody brilliant! It's hillllllarious! Did you also know his middle name is HUSSEIN? Well it totally is! Its totally the same name as that guy in the tv who had that country where they have camels and shit. brilliant! weird! inteeerrrrneeeet!- What he wants you to believe is that Barry is his real name and he changed it to Barack because he hates America...locustsloth
- When it's actually that his real name is Barack, but he changed it to Barry for a short ime (college i think) in order to fit inlocustsloth
- But then again, hedge wasn't ever much one for the truthlocustsloth
- totally weird man! Barry = Scary! right, am I right?threadpost
- I dig. My name is Jeffrey.usually I go by Jeff. In formal situations, or when my mom is mad, it's Jeffrey. otherwise, Jeff.threadpost

"I don't think it's right in America to reward the losers, the people that made the wrong decisions. Send them to class and teach them to read the fine print."
Amen, brother, amen! He is really is a modern day Paul Revere.

"When you attack the Street, you attack America."
Indeed. The other bad thing that happens when you attack the street is it fucks it up, and then the street fucks up your car. I've been so angry lately I've ruined the road out front, and now I've got flat tires on both of the cars that I'm hoping I can get paid off by Barry Bostwick. Especially now that the Street fucked me by attacking them.
Fucking street. Fuck.

I don't think it right in America to reward the losers! i.e. the banks, Wall Street, Detroit automakers, politicians, lawyers and the greedy, filthy, low-life, speculating, stock investors who sucked the blood out of America and the world for that matter!
