I watched that live. He said what a ton of people feel - we pay our mortgages on time, didn't over extend our finances or buy 5000 sq. ft. homes thinking they would be quick investments. So why do we have to pay for people that bought homes far beyond their means?
So even if we keep them in these homes, they are getting a break we didn't.
Makes me bitter.
But I also realize that if housing doesn't reach a bottom and stabilize, that the economy will never get back on track.
I guess like some politician said on cnbc sometime in response to this rant, 'sometimes you have to support those you don't want to to get things working again'.
Nothing fair about this mess we're in, on any side.
