Its as bad for you as Nutri-sweet, just different chemicals in your body. This whole, it starts from sugar so it must be safe campaign is bogus. A lot of things start as other things before they are chemically engineered. It doesn't take much change to make a poison. H2O (water) keeps you alive, one more oxygen atom and H202 would kill you (Hydrogen Peroxide).
Stick to the real thing in moderation. Best bet, use natural cane sugar and avoid the processing and bleaching stages.
