I just uploaded my revised submission which I am much less happy with. I am rarely happy with anything I do, so I am still somewhat ahead of the game.

I submitted the first one, which had the opening spread and two general spreads. Then I re-submitted with the opening spread and just one general spread, but I moved some of the content around and added some ore logo concepts to balance one of the pages. I think I will come to believe that I should have just bitten the bullet and not added more content.

so many opinions here already - but if i could offer one bit of input it's this: the lines/footer and page numbers are intrusive on the layout. if you're like me and wanting to use all pages full bleed (apart from the 1st) the lines and details get in the way.
i think they should appear on the info (1st page) only - then the remaining 3 can be left blank if desired.
end of rant. good job though to all involved in the organising so far - just my input. :)

f12 – I've had a quick boo at some other magazines, books around my desk and think that maybe we could drop the footer on full bleed pages... But I reckon we can only decide that once we have a look once all the submissions are in and see how many people are going full-bleed...

The idea started with NotByHand, Spooky, digdre and some others talking about doing a book with QBN'ers logo's init and donating funds to Patrick, I came in and mentioned that I thought it could be much more than that and felt just a book with logo's would be too small and possibly not interesting enough and then we started batting around what the book should be, themed vs open, all original work vs existing pieces, etc...
