not a big fan of the kinetic movement thing.
the tab thing is annoying.
illustrator CS4 does weird stuff to my CS3 files.
so far, i'm not comfortable with it, but i imagine it will just take time.

its that ugly Alien logo... i knew it was made by ET.
cs4 was made my aliens and they arent as good as Adobe yet... although it was a good attempt at our technology.

Is it just me or does Illy have issues with files built in anything older that CS4? Half the time, if I triple click text to highlight a line, it goes into this weird mode. Also, a graph i did in CS3 opens up as one item instead of all the elements it took to make. So I have to copy CS3 things into a clean CS4 file because saving as CS4 does nothing.

Illy; Isolate View / Gradient Transparency = good. A bit unstable working with image masks. A few general improvements, but probably could have had another year in development.
PS; slow as fuck, with or without OpenGL. Laggy feedback. I went back to CS3, which is lightning.
A new version every year is overkill - keep it bi-yearly and give us some real improvements.

AE has been pretty good for me. Photoshop is a mess.

i don't have problems with anything in the master suite. all runs better than CS3 did. CS3 indesign, was total shit.
pen tool seems to be same. but actions in illustrator seem to be a little buggy. my biggest complaint, but overall an upgrade. i like the document settings controls in CS4 illy.

meffid AE is solid for me, they haven't ruined anything just polished up the interface in a good way (new icons, better designed controls in places). AE has always been fucking solid, there is more talent in the AE team than in Flash, Fireworks and Dreamweaver combined

Flash cs4 is a brilliant upgrade, or better, an upgrade worth the name of "upgrade", since flash has been the same since flash5 (the only thing that changed was actionscript).
Dreamweaver cs4 with the live view is definitely a powerful html editor with advanced preview features.- Yeah, you can't knock the graphic tools upgrade to Flash. It will take a while to get used to though.CyBrain

no, it is better, they fixed some bugs in illustrator which annoyed me
but than again I never buy adobe products and all my software is piratedthe new adobe viewer is lightning fast, btw
