when i was looking, you could find a nice place for around $1500...but there are pockets that are nicer than others. i would say if you have the opportunity and the time, you should def. shop around.

Round about 2Gs for a 2 bedroom. Little cheaper if you go to Echo Park. Silverlake is kinda 7 years ago... isn't it?
