Hey I can now join the club of muffugers that have gotten their work stolen, in this case maybe miscredited.
I created a logo design and movie title animation for a small independent movie called My Struggle about 4-5 years ago. It's a movie about evil-ass hitler, ironically enough.
I looked for the movie on IMDB and noticed that in the credits they credited some dude as graphic designer that was not me.
My logo is all over the packaging and shit as well as the movie titles...
So I contacted the guy and told him that It was an honor to do the work and to give me the proper credit, he hasn't returned my messages.

it's crazy this is happening so much.
i once worked with a girl who was buying illustrations off istock and passing them off as her own work, though, she never did anything. then i started finding the shit ON istock... fucking frauds make me sick.

i catch people now and then trying to post copyrighted work to our site like what you are talking about above anxious arms and most of the times they don't even take off the watermarks. they will go in and get the downloaded comp. but trying to police something like that is really hard. we have to look at every image at 100%.

maybe you designed those peieces but they credited the designer responsible for putting everything together in the end for them?
how much did you really do for them? titles and logo and then gone?? cause titles and a logo are not a finished project.

I made the logo that is on the box, but not the design of the box itself. and I fully created the design and animation that I have linked here.

title animations are a finished project... i don't understand that logic. just because you're doing a component of a film doesn't mean that you're going to be involved in the entire process.
