(11am)
PM: "Thanks for all of your comments on the projects. Don't worry, I'll have all of the mockups with the modifications ready to present to you by tomorrow morning at 10am"-----
(4:15pm)
PM: "ok here's the thing, we need to make some changes to the layouts and this needs to be ready for tomorrow morning 10am"- I hate that. People should get fired for being that stupid.itsmitch

why the fuck would any creative want to have to take care off all the PM and account handling pish that these guys do? up for the meetings and the excel spreadsheets and the glad handing and the time away from your work guys?
I've always found account handlers and PMs to be a great help and where things have gone badly, adult level communication has usually sorted the situation completely Just my tuppence worth
- In the States, the Account & PM usually are in collusion and more or less abuse the creatives on regular occasionsrobotron3k

I love that they do that work and i would never want to do any of that. I'm not saying all account managers are pricks, but a good amount talk down on designers holding themselves as a higher authority. Its never any fun to have 5 people think they are your boss
- seems to be more annoying when your in advertising rather then a strict design shop

I think it's great when they take the credit for your work.
That's happened too often lately. It's like they designed the piece - or their direction MADE it work (when really there was no direction in the first place).
Ridicuous.
