Hahaha Nice one Kon. Excellent vid. Love the quality of it and the fact that its just kids deciding what they want to do and getting on with it. Amazing organisational skills to get that place built. Shame that kind of thing is not allowed these days.
Soundtrack: Jesus Jones???

Cheers Horp. Yeah it's Jesus Jones "Liquidizer" album, classic, eh?
Aye you wouldnt get away with that kind of thing these days. I dont know why we all got away with it for so long, maybe the council turned a blind eye cos it kept us off the streets, i dunno.
Was such an exciting place and yeah it was just all organised by the kids for the kids.
The titles on the video are class - my dads video camera had the feature to be able to add titles by "grabbing" them from being on a bit of paper in front of the camera - then you pressed the title 1 or 2 button. technology!!!!
It was a guy at my dads work who overdubbed the soundtrack as home editing was an unheard of thing back then - a lot easier these days!Cant believe this video is 20 years old!

theres a video taken at the same skatepark around the same time - it was shot by the DHSS skate team - local dundee team. This video is a bit more pro than mines with the use of editing haha and access to some nice wide angle lenses obviously.
