No crisis? Haha. Tell my bankrupt clients that.
Running a business in this environment is a stressful - don't even know when (or if) old invoices will be paid, etc., etc.
There really shouldn't be decaf coffee anyway!

By Far, the best reporting i have heard on the crisis was dont by NPR's This American Life. IF you listen to that you will SERIOUSLY wonder wtf is wrong with the media.

↑ Exactly. I've spent so much time lately reading alot of economics blogs, and digging out my college textbooks on political economy, etc...and then I turn on CNN and I get Wolf Blitzer and Lou Dobbs just vomitting crap out of their mouths. The media is doing nothing to inform the public about anything. Last night the main question on CNN was "Is Obama using the politics of fear on the population..."
And I was like WTF. Seriously. You spend four hours feeding this narrative into living rooms across the US - and for fuck sake Bush did nothing but use fear to push his agenda and the media never said shit. It's a fucking farce...total complete fucking farce. You can't have a real discussion about the issues with anyone who thinks they're "informed" by this media at all...

- major reductions on car prices
- reductions in property prices (some who doesnt own property's dream - if they are looking to buy)
- major sales in electronics stores because no one is buying luxury goods.
- Supermarkets getting into even more price battles with each other to win our custom
ARE THESE BAD THINGS? NOPE!!
If this credit crunch nonsense wasnt on the f*cking news every day the chances are that 90% of us wouldnt even know it was going on and that our banks and governments had f*cked up bigtime.
It's absolute scaremongering that is making things worse.
- and are these really reductions? or a return to 'WORTH' prices ?23kon
- You're note however is an excellent point..TheBlueOne

↑ C'mon, that type of reasoning is bullshit. It's like saying "Oh my neighbor Thadicus was out telling us the barbarians are at the gates and telling us to flee! Really! It scarred the children! Very rude and unthoughtful of him. It just makes the plebes around Rome very upset. Imagine that, barbarians! At the gates of Rome? Never!"
