Hey dudes,
I just replaced my HD in my mac book pro so there is no back up on it currently for the phone. I'm worried what will happen when I plug my iphone (1st gen.) into the cpu.
Anybody got any ideas, procedures?
Thanks

you can plug an iphone directly into the Central Processing Unit of your computer? what does that DO?
- lvl_130
should be fine. it will probably ask you if you would like to sync your phone. that's all.

I have the same.
I re-formatted my HD and lost all my iphone info. You can not recover your data from iphone (legally) but you can make a back up copy of your current iphone to itunes.
Launch and connect. Set data setting to have iphone data is synced but not erased by itunes. And create back up.

Senuti works well too if you're worried about iTunes eating your music up like it tends to do.
