I can understand the nostalgia, but why on earth would you want to load Photoshop? Same reason?

You need a “Serial to Ethernet” adaptor. Or if you still have a dial-up modem, you dial straight into your router (I think).
- and use the chooser to find it?dbloc
- I think so. What OS?MrOneHundred

You can actually transfer data over the ps2 ports as well.

If you have Photoshop 1 on your G5, why would you want to put it on a lame SE? It'll just run a lot slower.
- MrOneHundred0
...or maybe a Serial to USB adaptor. This is dangerous, because it isn’t technically a network solution. The SE will come up as an external drive.

New floppy disks hold more information than vintage floppy's. You'll probably need to break the disk in half and transfer the info to the older Mac in two parts.
You're welcome!

may have to ebay the old disks

the old SE will format the disk, but then the G5 won't read it...Gotta find a way to network the two
