why do you want an alternative?

if you're out there on the web you will eventually be crawled by some script kiddies bot, probably many. security is important for everyone. thinking you're safe because no ones got anything against you or you're obscure enough is foolish. look at your server logs.

give wordpress a shot and youll learn a ton of usefull css stuff should you manage to pull it off =)

i worked for a company which used indxr, and someone hacked our site and replaced it with a gay porn site..... it took us days and days to fix it.
