Looks like a Beirut poster for Yale Architecture.

Don't really like it.
Its not done properly...- what would be proper?********
- edges lining up better?********
- It doesn't look considered. Could look good, but I'm not sure its working.phatlee
- it does look a bit haphazard********
- assumed the cropping was achieved as a result of a random process which they declined to alter to make it look "better"********
- better********
- what would be proper?

on a purely aesthetic level I'm a sucker for black and white type stuff so I like it.
- brandelec0
gets me wet. sure i like it

I like the way that the type is cut up and arranged, but aside from that it seems commonplace and therefore not so special.
Don't Like.

I'm guessing context would really help this piece

Innovative and edgy, does not look like yet another typical brochure cover.
- neue75_bold0
it's a bit too random, the space and overall proportions could be used better to create a greater tension...
would be ace to be able to read the small copy..

only info I have:
"Hue & Cry
-
A0 Posters:
-
For the launch of the journal"
- chossy0
I quite like it :)

I don´t like it. Hate it even.
It looks like an error, you can´t even guess the full text. If the top is just meant to be a visual/illu-part, it fails as well, b/c it neither looks appealling, nor does it communicate anything else.

I think this is pretty much complete wannabe crap. As tank said there doesn't look like much time or effort or though put into it. The small text could at least align with one of the blocks. Bad.
- kelpie0
ok, so opinion is split with the piece running at an average 40% approval rating.
next!

I love doing this, because nobody ever agrees on anything and it fills me with horror at the impossibility of reaching consensus in this profession

"This poster was created as a limited edition serigraph which I printed and distributed at a lecture I gave for the San Francisco chapter of the AIGA. Thru the printing process, the information on this poster is purposely obscured. "
