Who install it? Can it be used as a regular OS?
- kgvs720
Yes. Been running it on a virtual machine for a while. There's a send feed back button, better performance than Vista. I have an extra key if anyone is interested.

And you run design program?
- Not yet. I'm testing from an old Firewire enclosure. I couldn't do that with Vista, too slow. I can do it witn Wind 7 and 2008 R2.kgvs72

I don't like that the taskbar is slightly bigger. They're doing that on purpose though. With time, your average user is going to spend more and more time on the browser eventually forgetting Windows. MS needs to understand that their core business needs to change. How about tabs of Windows Explorer?

doesn't look half bad

Will I be able to go back to Vista when I want or when it expires?
- It's really for testing purposes. It make sure software/hardware developers are ready when 7 comes out. Reduce incompatibilty.kgvs72

I use it on both of my machines. Simi permenatly - still got xp on one other partion.
No problems with anything other than installing adobe products. Need to try to completly remove and retry. Only problem happened when trying to uninstall then reinstall. Initial install was perfectNew taskbar features are awesome. I can have a million things open without feeling overwhelmed with diffrent tabs don at the bottom. I turned off recently used programs in the start menu, and just pinned applications i use frequently, Most like quick start bar. except its in the startmenu. So clean

is it possible to configure look&feel like win2000? like you can do on xp?
- I haven't tried it, but I think there's no more classic start menukgvs72

a lot of that presentation contains features that Vista already has and nothing that OS X doesnt already have.
they are trying to avoid the issue that windows 7 is only coming out because they cocked up so badly with vista! thats why there are no major new features.

is it more secure than the xp against viruses and spywares?

I knew a computer security expert (used to work for the government). He said that Windows would have to be written from the ground up to fix its security flaws.
- I knew a guy who worked for the government, he said Aliens were real.Jnr_Madison

This guy said that the aliens were in fact government agents wearing skin tight lycra.
- I want to believe.Jnr_Madison

i don't think it's a big secret that windows 7 is essentially the vista codebase underneath with some improvements to the stability and ui on top.
