I just installed it tonight after I set up the AppleTV. Seems ok so far. What sucks is that Netflix won't work on Boxee via AppleTV.
Now I need to figure out how to set up SSH so I can transfer Divx movies via FUGU. Anyone figure that out?

You should also check out XBMC (X-Box Media Center). I've had better luck with this instead of Boxee.

you can get boxee alpha for windows. check out piratebay.

Out of all the companies in the mix, they look to be the leader in the media center market. This will be their big release showing at CES this year. It's supposed to create a pretty big buzz. And I will be there to report on it since I work for a competitor.

Also, there is a rumor in the works that Apple will be releasing a subscription based model that sounds pretty cool. $30 a month for all the TV shows and movies you want. Won't be local, it's streaming from what I have heard.

I've got it installed on my Apple TV and like it quite a bit. I need to update to the new Beta version though, lots of changes over the Alpha.
