What do you consider to be a reasonable salary for someone who manages projects, from client meetings, division of job responsibilities, timelines, updates, collection of payment, etc., basically all aspects of project management.
This person would also be required to do some creative design on occasion as well.
Thoughts?

60–90K depending on location, clients, markets, experience, and so on.
Some companies like their PM to have PMP after their names, some companies really just want production co-ordinators.

I think what you need is a really good production manager.

Or a General Manager

I'm with JSK. Get a PM or a GM. For creative design, just bring in a freelancer if you're momentarily swamped.

Appreciate your thoughts guys...

Even though you wouldn't want a PM or GM to ever design, would you rather them come from a design background or a business/marketing background?

This seems like a very small shop.
For better or worst, I would consider getting a partner with above style.
Most people who work for salary would not do above tasks unless they have equity with in the firm.

I would want my PM or GM to have business / marketing background. I want them to sell and manage.
But I must say, I am more of an analytical, business centric, designer. So there are people out there.

Yup, a small shop, and you make a good point.

Best partnership comes between a business guy and creative guy
A realist who is fiscally responsible will ground the creative and the creative will bring new ideas expanding beyond realist's perspective.
Much like the restaurant business.

Well i cannot honestly say that my project manager feels the need to be a creative as well, but he's a badass when it comes to timelines, financing, budgets, contacting clients, rfps, etc. Not sure what he makes though, i'm assuming it's more than me because he's the guy who has to put his neck out their collecting the cash.
