It’s finally here. My site that is! I’ve been trying to find the time to launch a site for nearly 4 years now. After all the different concepts and designs I had scrapped, I ultimately ended up with customized Wordpress. This solution was great because it really forced me to strengthen my CSS, javascript and simple PHP skills. By no means would I ever think of myself as a developer, but it was fun to pretend during this process. Anyhow, I’ll be updating the blog daily with music, design, skate and all types of other material as well as some last minute projects, but enough is enough, I forced myself to launch this sucker, so enjoy and thank you for stopping by.
Don’t be a stranger and feel free to say hello if you like, it’s nice to make new friends.

great work! if you were linking me to your portfolio however, i'd rather see your work be the primary focus. right now it seems lost behind your blog.
also, i'd suggest defaulting to the interactive section (or print, if you prefer) when you click on "work" instead of requiring another click to select which medium.

i would lose the blog from your portfolio altogether.
nice wordpress skin though. presents the work really nicely.

How did you do the little flashing loader thing when you scroll down? That's really pretty slick, maybe it's out there and I've just never seen it, but it's got to help with initial page load speed a bit, right?
- flashing what? i dont see it...********
- It's a jQuery plugin called Lazy load. http://www.appelsiin…Jeffdoe

I think it's a great site. No problem keeping the blog in there.

I dig it for what it is. Clean, neutral letting the work speak for itself. The sub nav needs some work though. Why is the treatment for that different? Also a more varied contrast between H1, H2 and H3 is needed.
- Thanks! Def things to consider when I get back to if for some simple tweaks.Jeffdoe

Solid, I like it. Some nice work there. I like the drum-n-bass vinyl covers. Been spinning (house) records for 10 years now, and have always thought the artwork on vinyl is mostly amazing. Never run across anyone who has designed it though.
I do have to say that I am getting REALLY sick of the blog-style layout for portfolio sites. I know other peeps in here would argue it's the simplest and effective way to layout work though...but personally I grow tired of scrolling and seeing the same layout on every portfolio. That part is subjective though.
