I like it.
My only comment is that it's hard to tell which album you are in. Maybe either a darker state for the text or underline the selected album.

I like it.
Any way you can select the specific photo you want to see? I like seeing thumbnails (large enough to make out what the image contains, of course) sometimes so that I don't have to go through earlier photos to get to a specific one. Not a big deal, but just curious.

as per the spin comments, yes, i am aware of the similarity, and if this had been a commercial site it would have been too close. it's not a copy though, just a refresh of an existing site that is older than the spin one. http://www.socket-studios.co.uk/…
section highlighting will be fixed (there is a change, just too subtle).
and the portrait in a landscape box is a difficult one. i tried various things, two portrait shots side by side and leaving it as i had it in the last version. but having the menu wider than the entire photo are looked wrong to me. this solution was the lesser of a bunch of evils.
