yeah few of my mates think its brilliant.. ive tried to get into it 2 or 3 times.. but its just complete shite.
- you not liking it doesn't make it 'complete shite'max_prophet
- of course it does, in his opinion it is whatever his opinion makes of it, you cunt.set
- you sound clever.max_prophet
- yes, I am.set

A serious pile of steaming humourless shite.

Doesn't even come close to Flight Of The Conchords or Peepshow or even The Office.

got to 0.34 so funny. stationary village!
- bolus0
haha, i never saw an entire episode and was only talking about this snippet. look what a can of steaming shit I opened :)
the fact that you like something else isn't really a great argument as to why this show is shit though

Not for everyone I agree but I find it funny how some people are so abusive towards it! If you don't like it, you don't like it, simple as that. Personally I think it's great, been following it from the radio series.

I really loved it when it was first on radio/TV but I find now they're just everywhere you go and have got too big for their boots. Nowhere near as funny as it used to be.
Howard is a genius though, much funnier than Vince.

There was a documentary film of ELP on BBC4 last week, when I saw Keith Emerson I thought it was Noel Fielding!

if you don't know anything about popular culture and music, you won't really get it. if you do, you'll think it's brilliant.
- That's almost as good as the time you told people if they didn't like Amy Winehouse, they didn't like women with a personaility...lolzJnr_Madison
- personality.Jnr_Madison
- I guess this is why you're called a mentalist.Jnr_Madison
- it's true. if people can't hear amy winehouse has a good voice, they can't be very musical.vespa
- and the types of blokes who slag her off wouldn't slag duffy off. they are slagging her because of her personality, not her voice.vespa
- I don't remember it being about AW's voice? Anyway, I wasn't involved in the mud slinging that time (I don't think anyway)Jnr_Madison
- anyway) I just don't agree with these sweeping generalisations.Jnr_Madison
- ok "don't know anything" was overly antagonistic. "never been in a band" is more accurate.vespa
- hehe, I wasn't really having a go anyway, even if reading it back does seem like that.Jnr_Madison
- I can't stand duffy OR amy.kalkal
- Hello Vespa. Long time an all that.moth

I'm repelled by the weird guy with the buttons on his jacket.

Just started watching this. Any more opinions about it?
- MrT0
Maybe it should be remade for the American market with different writers and actors, then it would be the same only better.
FFS.
ps. The Mighty Boosh is ace.
- No, that would not work out well I think.duckofrubber
- < that was sarcasm at it's heaviest : )MrT

So far there have been enough moments of pure brilliance in each episode to keep me watching, although I find the musical sequences a tad cumbersome. Howver, I've only watched the first four episodes so far...

It was epic funny till season 3. then it got douche and they were doing it for the sake of it... then came the boosh band.. i had free tickets to the festival, which was complete shit... then best part was seeing gary newman then frankie boyle.
we left after the 3rd boosh band song.... complete sell out... saw them in brixton when they filmed the live DVD, that was funny but i was so upset i ddint even bother going to their last live shows in London.
- neue75_bold0
best show ever...
- FallowDeer0
oi leave the boosh alone!
love the series but the live shows... pretty crap
- moth0
I don't mind it. Don't really get the whole band/festival thing. But then I've always had a scathing HATE for "comedy music" for as long as I can remember.
Nothing worse than certain friends of mine insisting on me watching Tenacious fucking D or similar in the vain hope that I might laugh or just break into a slight enjoyment at the comedic musical genius.
Comedy Music = No.
