When i try to watch that pornfolio
http://www.sacredmtn.com/
it make my browser crash. because there's too many pictures on the page. How many images do you think is the best to keep a page not that heavy and make the scroll not that long?I was thinking of 25 images per pages or something like that. What do YOU think?

it was a easter egg, and you found it. ;-)

And they are pretty high res too. Even with the amount of calls the pages is making to the server, I don't know if image count is as important as image size. This page isn't balanced in either regard.

I have about four hundred images on the main page inside my website. I'm suddenly concerned that it might be crashing machines. I have no idea about web stuff so just assumed that as it was alright on my machine it must be alright. Eeek!

Yeah the size of the file is important...
for 400 images is way too much.I would go with no more than 1.5mb to 2mb per pages.

I think limit is the amount of ram, and then scratch space on the harddisk (clientside)...
...for instance loading Horp's site (wow, great drawings!) in firefox: ram: climbed from 205 to 372MB, scratch: from 647 to 812MB.(btw, give that site a title)

maybe break it down a little, great work BTW!
