2cents, how much do you get up to Whistler now that you aren't next door to it? or have you been riding the locals for the most part?
- I ride Cypress a lot, it's a great mountain. Whistler not as often, maybe every two weeks.2cents

Honestly though, I just have to let go and fly down that hill. I find skiing to be much easier, but not as appealing.

Blue is ok I guess. It gets boring after a few visits, and like most East coast "mountains" the runs are over fairly quickly. You can definitely have some fun messing around with a group of friends though. The prices seem outrageous so it's best to get a 5x7 pass. That way you only have to go 3 times for it to pay for itself.

Blue got some good early season snow this year, then it all melted over the holidays. Hopefully back in action soon.

its a mission getting there.

it's looking like i won't make it out this year, which is really depressing. i tore my meniscus ten days ago playing soccer and am still waiting for my insurance company to ok the mri so the doctor can then schedule surgery to repair it. looking at 3 months minimum before i can do anything physical.

did a day at copper mountain in november which was actually pretty good even though only 2 lifts were open. then spent new year at stratton, VT.... COLD.
going to killington in feb, then st.anton, austria in march.

I didn't know that you could fly directly into the Vail airport, didn't even know there was an airport there.
Flights from Chicago to Vail are in the upper $200s, but sadly no evening flights, which would be perfect - fly in Thursday night, ride for three days, go home early Monday morning. Heaven.

I was in Kaprun/Zell am see mid December for 5 days and I'm off to Avoriaz on the 18th Jan for 7 days. Plan to make snowbombing in Mayrhofen too. I can't get enough of boarding.

been an absolute shit/bust season for me so far... super bummed.
got a 5 day trip up to big white/ interior BC next week that better make up for it.

Working on a snowboard project and I haven't even had a chance to go riding myself this season, go figure.

ive been 3 times this season so far..i wish more, my first year. just ordered a lib tech board and flux bindings - 2008 so it was cheapp.
im addicted and angry, this is expensive.

went christmas day to Ski Bowl Oregon, not the best mountain but when it dumps it has crazy steeps and is cheap as hell.
