tokyo/japan for NYE?

im thinking of taking my gf there for this NYE and xmas. is it a good time to go?

But NYE should be cool but I would go during the lunar NY where its more traditional etc but NYE is similar to anywhere, fireworks, drunk people etc

I would suggest NYE in ibiza, well it used to be very good. Beach party with good music but that was about 8 years ago.

stay in shinjuku or shibuya if you are down for nightlife. Big hotels is a good bet if you have your ladyfriend, more room and more western style. Peterh would be a great person to talk to about restaurants and things.

With so much time between now and then you should look into renting a condo, many times they are actually cheaper than hotels.

absolutely, I love tokyo, going back for hanami (cherry blossom season End of March and Early April). Park parties and shit. I may try to facilitate a gril this time.
