commercially i failed miserably.
next year commercial approach will prevail over graphic design preciseness wankery anal blahblah.
aka: i will actually try to make some decent money.
- janne760
aka i wil be more hedge and less neue.
- janne760
no hard feelings toward neue though. just noticed that in the commercial world people don't care as much about kerning as they do about a "decent looking whatever" and a fair price.
the rest is bullshit. apparently.

moved across the world again (this time thankfully not for a girl although i did persuade one to come with me).
bought my first car (even though i don't actually own it).
got my work published for the first time (well, first time in a proper design book, not a 1001 websites rubbish).
cooked my own christmas dinner for the first time (which turned out pretty well considering i was drunk, ok so the girlfriend did most of it)and to top it all off, i got a ffffound invite.
not a bad year.

Renovated an old building into an office space;
Hired another full-time designer and a part-time office manager;
^ That took most of the year's efforts.Highlight: Took a day off, arose early, arrived back late, and the only time spent off of my motorcycle was while I was sitting in a tattoo chair. Insignificant in the grand scheme of things, but a very entertaining bit of downtime.

I can't even write anything, I keep babbling for paragraphs - so I'll try and condense and keep it short and sweet (for me).
Though I won't talk about it, I have recognized the defining moment of my year ... which probably turns out to be my life. And to be brutally honest, I still feel awful about, haha. So thanks for making me think about this bLaw, haha.
2008 nonetheless was absolutely bad ass, and 2009 looks to follow suit; albeit with a new cast of characters in some respects (and hopefully some familiar faces eventually, haha).
Almost forgot I spent an entire week in teh hospital when I walked into the ER with a burst appendix and described the pain as a "6" on teh 1-10 scale. Then proceeded to laugh my staples out the first nite. Good Lord, that initial entire day was hilarious from start to finish outside of the almost crippling pain and if I was born even a few decades earlier, eventual death, haha.
