Anyone visit that site regularly, or, specifically, did anyone regularly visit the site more four years ago when it was still an anonymous messageboard?
Just curious. I've been going there for years and the messageboard used to be the most amazing free-for-all you could ever imagine.

No, I mean, the messageboard was amazing. Architects and students were the main viewers of the site, it was anonymous with no login, so there were a gazillion aliases and it all just had this intelligent-funny aspect to it. I have so many old posts saved on an old computer actually; they didn't carry over the old database when they upgraded.
For example - I started a thread there once posting as a Russian cosmonaut writing from the International Space Station who "found" archinect by chance when searching google for the "russian avant-garde book." did all my homework on the cosmonaut I was posting as so it would be believable. Some people there got pretty hostile to each other over whether or not it was really a cosmonaut; the icing on the cake was when one person said, "I believe him. I mean, who would make that kind of thing up?" :D

I used to go there all the time. I didn't care much for the redesign so I haven't been reading it much anymore.
