I'm having a hard time choosing between Nogueira and Mir. I think they have both overcome a lot in their lives (massive injuries etc) and have a lot of determination going into this fight. Nogueira seem unstoppable though. He's definitely earned the nickname "Minotauro".
I think Forrest is more well rounded than Rashad but Rashad is really heavy handed and dangerous.
Between Silva and Jackson I think Silva is going to win. Again. But in my heart I want Jackson to win too. Tough one to cheer for.
The only way this fight card would be better is if Anderson Silva was fighting.
- Forrest is a big man, i think he will do good as HW.keiTai

The fights should be awesome tonight. Only problem is trying to find space in a bar to watch them. All the sports bars get filled up with hockey fans so by the time the fights come on you can't find a frickin seat.
As far as brain injury goes there way less then in boxing. Ref's jump in really fast (sometimes too fast) when flash knockouts occur and stop the fight.

Glad to see some fans here. Bring on the cold beer and the ass whippings.

i was watching some of the highlights and it looks pretty good. that big brazilian dude looks tough.
i've heard there's way less long term brain injuries in ufc than boxing because they don't repeataly hit each constantly for 12 rounds, knock outs are quick and there's more grappling etc.

I'm going to watch it at Hooters tonight with my fiance's sister's new boyfriend. What a birthday for me!

Looks like exciting fights. Aren't these guys concerned about brain damage getting hit in the head so much?

Anyone going to watch it? Great fights all around and I want to thank the UFC for this Xmas present. Here's my breakdown.
Forrest Griffin v.s. Rashad Evans- Forrest has the best heart of anyone in the UFC, but Evans is easily the most dangerous fighter Griffin has faced. Forrest must stretch this fight into the later rounds or he will lose.
Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira v.s. Frank Mir- Nogueira has never been submitted or knocked out and I think his power and experience is too much for Mir.
Wanderlei Silva Vs. Quinton Jackson- For Jackson to be a star again this is a must win fight for him. He has to avoid the takedown and use his standup to his advantage.
All in all it should be some great action tonight.
