Check it out. I was thinkin of doing my new site like this one. How does it stack up in the relm of photography websites?
Do you art directors hate it?
Lemme know.

Nice pics but wow...long loading times

it's okay. the navigation (or lack of) doesn't make a whole lot of sense. it's also pretty slow to load (loading progress doesn't show up until it hits 80+%. and i think the interior navigation look and feel needs some work. it's simple, but it's also simply ugly.

The navigation is clunky and confusing. The load times are also pretty bad. With some refinement it might work alright for you.

If an art director is looking to commission a photographer, they know what style and subject the image needs to be. Therefore what they want to be able to do, is quickly find examples of similar work, be it portrait, sport, still life, pictures with weird lighting, whatever it may be.
Ideally you should be able to offer them an easy way to find out whether you have something that fits what they are after.
In that sense, your site works to a certain extent, but could certainly be better I think.
Some very nice work though, just a little bit too hard to get to for me personally. Too much time.
- i don't think it's their site or work...they were asking if it is a good starting point to go from. i think.lvl_13
- oh yeah, I see. well the points still stand.max_prophet

Good points. Thanks. Heres another example of a website I kinda like. Super Simple.
http://www.mattiasfredriksson.co…Im with a company called livebooks,( http://www.livebooks.com/) right now. and it is probally one of the best for simple flash websites. But Im not loving how "templated" it is. theres really no personality to them.
What do you think?Im in a turn around right now, going from college work to profession portfolio, and im having troubles really deciding how i want to show my work.
Thanks for all the input
