@ moldero saying : guns are for killing yes, what do you do with someone attacking you or your family ? kiss them?
- Dear moldero. Is families often attacked? You all leave in a paranoia. You want to be armed to protect your family against the others families that own guns... So, if everyone got a gun, everyone needs a gun? This is as logic as a hamster in a wheel. If no one have guns, no one will ever needs guns. You fear something invisible. And maybe you watch too much movies. Its a cultural problem. I can't understand your point and you can't understand mine. We're fucked. End of the line.

oh and while you're waiting for your family to be attacked by something invisible, you're all attacking youselves with the guns made to protect the americans family :
Gun deaths per 100,000 population
Country - Murder - Suicide
USA (2001) - 3.98 - 5.92
Italy (1997) - 0.81 - 1.1
Canada (2002) - 0.4 - 2.0
France (2001) - 0.21 - 3.4
England/Wales (2002) - 0.15 - 0.2Every day, more than 80 Americans die from gun violence.
The rate of firearm deaths among kids under age 15 is almost 12 times higher in the United States than in 25 other industrialized countries combined.
American kids are 16 times more likely to be murdered with a gun, 11 times more likely to commit suicide with a gun, and nine times more likely to die from a firearm accident than children in 25 other industrialized countries combined.
What were you saying yet? Protecting your family? ... your families are killing themselves.
I think there's something you dont understand here.- Thank the NRA & GOP for all of their propaganda!********

posting statistics from the "gun control network" is like me posting statistics from the NRA. http://www.gun-control-network.o…

When I get on a motorcycle I wear a helmet, but not because I expect to wreck my bike.
I check the locks on the doors to my house before going to bed at night, but not because I expect someone to try to gain entry in the night.
I get regular physicals. I teach my kid to avoid strangers. I have money in the bank and staples in pantry.
That's not paranoid, just practical.
I understand cultures outside the U.S. don't get it, but trust me, guns are a natural part of the area I live in. The biggest point is that, while it may be big deal to you, it's not a big deal to anyone around here. Guns where I live are as natural as having a back-up generator.

like i said, Its a cultural thing. I can't understand your point and you can't understand mine.
who's gonna attack you? you're afraid of what? world war III ? aliens invaders? osama bin laden? or you just dont trust anyone around you because they own guns ... so you need a gun too. Adn them? they own guns because YOU own a gun too. ... you see the downward spiral here.

you know, many people own guns quietly because they're marksmen (or markswomen), hunters aficionados or simply people who want a nice 870 tucked away in case someone breaks in with intentions other than pilfering your vcr and using harsh language. they're not running around howling at the moon and shooting guns in the air.
