Once. While extremly hungover.
Asked the tandem guy for arial flips (or -spins, whatever they're called).
He only allowed a few of them. Probably because of the hungover-barf-ratio being as high as it was.

I have recently struck Bungee jumping off the list, skydiving is next... tandem doesn't seem like it would be as much fun as solo but you guys seem to have liked it... can't wait!!

That pic is a fake - dudes are being hoisted by a very tall crane.

I want to but I feel like my chances of dying increase every year I wait.

Its the most expensive 55 seconds of your life, but a nice, mind clearing experience. When they pull the brakes at 5k ft, ouch. But the ride to earth is peaceful.

I want to.

Hell Yes. You have to do it at least once. The freakiest part is after the shoot deploys the person you do the tandem with has to readjust his straps that keep you connected. It almost feels like he is disconnecting you from him and you drop a few inches down. But it is a huge rush. When you are free-falling you can scream as loud as you want and you can't hear it. Then the shoot comes out and it seems like near silence. Get a good person to do the tandem with and can do some good corkscrews and flips on the way down. Enjoy the ride!

wow i'm surprised so many are saying an absolute "no way"... something i think everyone should do at least once in there life.
collecting yourself to step out the plane door is pretty much a max on the adrenaline scale.... and then looking at everything so tiny on earth below really puts things into perspective (npi).

my balls shrink just thinking about jumping out of a plane
