remote access with macs

never really played around with the idea of working on my office computer from home. any advice/tutorials?

I use Jaadu on my iphone, I've never had the urge to actually work remotely on my computer. I mainly use it to email PDFs in emergency situations.

Years ago I would use Timbuktu and 'talk' to the old drunk guy downstairs using the Zarvox voice at full volume.
I like to think that the voice of Zarvox helped downstairs guy to address his alcoholism, Zarvox could perhaps have been a little more understanding and used less profanity I guess.

sorry, forgot to mention that i just plan on doing simple tasks such as pulling files from my desktop, etc. any simple solutions?

i use vpn to get onto my network from home - works well enough on both mac and pc from my experience - kinda slow though.

I use dropbox for files I need to access from both machines. I love it.
