Stand on a chair and use a 50mm lens.
- why 50mm?********
- Least distortion. Closest optically to the human eye.********

Ok, first of all, you need very good glue. Otherwise everything just falls of the wall.....

ah okay...i would say....light....why not macro mode and lens like yeah a 50mm.

or shoot each piece individually and put together in photoshop

I think 50 is too wide you will surely get distortion. the example is likely a 100mm 5 - 6 ft above. you can use a 50mm but you will have a lot of post work too straighten all those lines.

Yes. 50mm, a tripod, and multiple photos collaged in photoshop should do it nicely.

bullshit, you can use a 50 mm and then crop it.. aka use more whitespace where distortion gets stronger..
so many ways to do this.. be creative ffs...

I used this tripod: http://www.manfrotto.com/Jahia/s…
"Newly redesigned, the 190XPROB makes the famous Manfrotto-patented horizontal centre column feature even easier to use."
