- I used to have one and that is all. Espresso makers are like breadmakers. You only use them once.Llyod

It doesn't exactly take cutting edge know-how to make an espresso machine. I'm sure nearly anything you get would be fine.
I'd probably choose my favorite color, and get that.

I have a Gaggia titanium, which was a gift as I would never spend that on one of these things, but it works pretty damn well. you do need to keep it clean weekly, as there are lots of moving parts and it will break down otherwise, but it is so easy to walk up to it and get a perfect double shot from freshly ground beans at the touch of a button. quite dangerous in fact. spoiled me it has.

- I must say these make really good espresso. Perfect for a small office too.danthon

- capsules full of coffee. You just add water to the machine, danthon
- no hassle easy use drop the capsule in and push a button no steam no tapping out grounds and now they have a mandarin orange flavourjacobdean

i picked up a starbucks barista a couple of years ago. it was on sale for about 80% off and figured what the hell. with illy beans it works, quite nice. i've definitely gotten my money out of it.
