Thanks guys, i have bought a MacBook Pro and AppleCare today and to sweeten the deal the Apple Store gave me TimeCapsule a mouse and a keyboard for free. Viva La Mac.

Well there is a reason this exists....and that is for Apple to make money.

So I turned on my mbp and one of the usb sockets wasn't working. I called apple care and the guy walked me through a system reset (take out battery, etc). Afterwards it worked. This thing crashed within the first two days of having it. Apple's quality sucks.

yes it is.. friend of mine had the lcd replaced because of a faulty monitor. Would have cost $550 without applecare..
