Gee no surprise. Our court system is so fucked up. Not to say he shouldnt get any jail time, but 15 years for trying to get your shit back is nuts. Ive seen murderers and drug dealers get less time.

He had 10 different major counts against him. 15 years is about right for those counts that were tried against him. Most of them are served concurrent.

The MSN videos of his "I'm Sorry" and the judge's explanation of the charges, verdict, and sentencing can be found here. The judge does a great job at putting it in perspective, and wasn't as hard on him as she could have been. Pretty much, mandatory minimums.
