Doubt there will ever be an iPhone killer simply because all them hardcore apple fans around. Hype is strong in those guys.
But for alternatives I like this Aquos phone (the TV-series from Sharp)

I aggree you get to the actual novascotia site and it's so different it's rubbish but I would be interested in what the budget was for that Pomegranite bit. They actually had a proper model made up of it. How do you sell something like that to a client?

do you realize that since 2001, when the first ipod was released..
and the term "(product name) Killer" became popular, as a way to force the thought of a successful product ending to be around the corner, and always failing to actually do so, the term"(product name) Killer"
was, since then, instantly associated with total and complete failure, think about it.. Zune, Silverlight, Vista, and how many others.. they all failed..
If you add that term today, people now think... oh wow.. this is going to be total crap.. were your intentions to lower everyone's expectations when stating this?
