thats the thing. after learning the adobe suite up to a certain point i was bored. i never wanted to learn how to do the really technical stuff. not because it was "hard" per say, i never understood the value of learning how to polish a turd or being a photo retoucher...seems so manual...laborious.

Everybody -can- be a designer.
And with print your own deck, pring your own hoodie and tie, and print your own cards, suddenly every other kid on the block owns his own skatelabel -or whatever- after investing 100 bucks/pounds/euros.
It's ridiculous, it's what it is.
But I welcome it.

it really is the same with any profession. more and more people are finding ways to do things themselves - home depot, mowing their own lawns, self diagnosing themselves via webmd, getting recipes online and eating in, etc.
just keep ahead of the trends and people who see value in it are ones who know it's a smarter business decision overall. ones who don't probably wouldn't make good clients anyway.
