Jnr Madison:
Thanks for the designs. I think at this point I am going to darken the background pattern or come up with a different solution. At this point in the game I need to get the site out and it is going to take too much time to fill the window. Thank you so much for your feedback though - I think it looks much better.
Anyone else? Thoughts?
- no problem, now just lose the wallpaper, enlarge the pics to the size of your outline and font in capitals and you're done!!!Jnr_Madison
- done!!!

I hate bumping threads - but this was posted last night and want to see if anyone else has any feedback before I make the background change and push it live.
Thanks!

I like it, easy to navigate, and to the point. Not to sure about the background, but that subjective.

Needs a way to get back to the first image once you arrive at the last image.
Like the simplicty, maybe try making it even more simplified.
Get rid of wallpaper bg.

Overall nice job, remove the wallpaper background, this a huge mistake when trying to sell and or focus on the photography.

nice photos.
i am never too fond of thick borders and backdrops/textures on photo sites.
remember K.I.S.S!

i would ditch the wallpaper for sure - it's distracting and the i think it stylistically dates your work

it would be fine to have a texture in the background but that wallpaper is battling with the photos because there is way to much texture and contrast. choose something that is simple.

Yeah either delete the wallpaper or darken it considerably so it's more of a textural afterthought. Right now it's the first thing I see when images appear. Besides that, nice work.

btw, I can tell you don't want to lose the wallpaper as you think ti adds personality to the site but honestly, the pics are good enough and should stand alone as big as possible. You'll thanks us later :D
- photographers site should be all about the pics anyway.Jnr_Madison

Agreed - its gone tonight. I just need to figure out what is going to work back there because I think just leaving in black isn't going to work. Hmmmmm...
But whatever I do, it will be subtle and simple.
- Overall it's very clean. If you decide to keep the pattern background try it scaled way back, like 15%.metal_leg_will
- make the pics as big as the outline box, they are too small. Might be extra work but will be worth it!!!Jnr_Madison
- I agree w/ Jnr...fyoucher1

If you are worried about the simplicity of a just black.
Try this...
fix the alignment in the logo. The Y on photography needs to be pulled in. it's too far on the right. It's not aligned with the MM.
also, try something more interesting with your menu. Try a different weights, sizes or different typefaces. As of now it sorta looks like it was done rather quick and didn't think about the typeface there or even playing with it.
- ^^^ Def. If the pattern stays make it a lot lighter.VectorMasked

very nice

Vector - thanks for pointing that out - I will correct the positioning of the word. As far as the black goes, I am good with it black for the transitions, just concerned when the photos show having it sit on a black background - thing there needs to be something subtle behind there.
- make the pics as big as the outline box, ok, I've said my part (maybe too much). Good luck.Jnr_Madison
- trust me.Jnr_Madison
