depends on who you are hosted with no? you probably have a control panel for that.

Depends who your host is and what sort of control you have over your domain.
For example on mediatemple, it's as easy as clicking the add domain button and typing in the subdomain you want but I'm sure other hosts are different.

I think for some reason my host won't let me do it.
I'm finding out that outside of them not allowing "FuckYouCandy.com" when I actually started using them for practical purposes, they aren't that great...

okay - so we have deduced that i have a control panel - great work...
What exactly do I do?
- i would probably just give up.skt
- create a folder and setup up a sub domain for it.Jnr_Madison
- click it! click it!grunttt
- why don't you ask at DO, someone will probably write you a manual.skt

In your control panel — depending on your host, you should see something that says SubDomains. With MT or anybody that runs Cpanel, this is dead easy.
Who's yer host?

eatmypeanuts.me would be a good one

i'd say the easiest method would be to ball your fist and ram it up your backdoor. once that's done, using your free hand call a mate that has a clue and get that poor bastard to help you out.
i'd also consider changing hosts. adding a sub-domain should be the easiest thing in the world and should either be covered by a readme file in the hosts help section or a cover all note - it's not exactly uncommon these days. if the host is making that difficult then i'd hate to think what else they're crap at.

I have decided I have no strength for sub.domains.

Your hosting provider should have a console that allows you to do this. If not, it's a pain the @ss.
