I was interested to hear this album. Now that I have, I am amazed at how awful it is.
His voice is synthesised throughout the whole album and nearly every song sounds completely the same.
I appreciate that he tries to re-create himself and is always trying to take hip hop to new levels, I really do... it's just really badly executed in this album.
I don't dislike Kanye's music in general, I'm a fan of some of his stuff, but this album just fell through the floor.

what a shite album!i was half expecting for all the ranting about the vocoding just to be you lot bitching for bitching sake, but no there is wayyyyy too much vocoding or voice correction going on through that.
please leave this voice correction vocoding to the talentless likes of posh spice etc.
yes, we know that kanye cant sing. please dont help him along with a vocoder - id just rather hear him rapping or leave the songs instrumental lol.
anyone paying money for that album will be sadly dissapointed!

aww man just went through it! and as much as i can dig the production value and beats...i could not get past the pitch shift vocals...ugh! i mean why not just hire cher to do the album at this point? i mean you use this shit over the whole album! yea what a creative risk...

kanye understands what uniqueness is all about, not your typical rapper or R&B he is more about culture shift and this new album is pretty decent, gotta be open minded and realize that its a segway into something new and much cooler... just a bridge to the next

is it okay if i admit to liking it? it's not amazing but i enjoyed it. it's very different from his other stuff and i don't mind the electronic influence. some songs i like more than others. although some songs i can't stand. is one song really called robocop?

this album is fantastic if you ate way too much cheese and havent been able to "make a deposit at the porcelain bank" for a few days.
otherwise, use it to keep an old chair/desk from wobbling
