Anybody on here use this?
If so, say I wanted to connect to my G5 Mac back home but it's sleeping, can I wake it up from my laptop then put it to sleep again?

I think if you want to wake it from sleep you have to tick a box in energy saver.

that wake for network button it must be. Would be handy to switch it on and off once I've got done what I needed done. Be silly to have my comp on all day if I'm only going to use it for 30mins - 1hr to access things.

Don't worry too much about it. Set your monitor to sleep, and call it day. If there's not constant access, and you have no network apps, the machine isn't going to draw that much power in the first place.
- exactly, i keep mine on 24/7. doesnt suck up that much power.ArmandoEstrada
