i think drugs pick off a lot of the serious ones. but then again, drugs are probably responsable for a lot of the famous ones too.

BTWs... theres usually more to study at art school than just art.
For example: Graphic Design...Anyways, most people go to art school to learn shit. I would hope that people understand that the point of attending an institute of higher learning would be to learn, but I guess I shouldn't take that for granted...

- epikore... in high school I made the decision to become a graphic designer just for that reason. I now have a love for both forms of creativity and am able to do both. I would actually like to have more time to create more of my art concepts.tparsons

Dear epikore, I am really sorry that you think that art is a bad path to take. Life is certainly filled with its conundrums, like how to survive and such, but then there is that ever present question of who you want to be. Money is important, but it is only important to take care of the basics. The higher spiritual part of life is much more vast and interesting. Please do not get hung up on the details, like who will pay my rent this month. The answer is that you will do exactly what it takes to get the job done, with humility, and patience. If you do not learn humility and patience you will not make good art anyways. Good luck to you, and remember, every great artist had to suffer to get anywhere at all, but that place is sublime...
