Want to watch cat all day

I was talking to someone at work yesterday about what our pets do at home all day and how I think it'd be cool to have a time-lapse of my cat walking around and doing whatever she does. Exciting life, I know.
If I were to set something up to have a camera in my apartment and stream this to a web page, how would I do this? Are there services for this? Would it be free? Anyone done anything like this before?

In all seriousness I think it would be interesting to see what she does when I'm not there. It's cute when i get home and find that she's moved one of her toys onto my bed, or the couch, when it was in a different place the day before. I like to know she's doing something fun while I'm not there.

I spend all day at home with my cats. Trust me when i say that they dont do anything. They literally just sleep and maybe walk over to the food dish once in a while.

when i first got my dog i didn't feel great about leaving her home alone as a puppy. wasn't anything i could do since i had a full time job so i set up a web cam that was hooked up to a Yahoo Messenger account. then i could spy on her all day whenever i wanted, my coworkers actually wasted a good amount of time watching as well the weirdos haha. best thing was that there were no surprises when i got home. any vomit, poo on the floor or chewed up shoes were already made aware to me.

I bring one of our dogs to work with me nearly every day. She just sleeps the day away here, same as she would at home.

you need a series of web cams all with motion detectors that follow her movements room to room. A small one round it's neck either on her collar if she has one (if not a bow tie like the old George Formby spy film) that comes on if she's out of range of the cameras.
That way you can always see her sleeping all day.
