Say im designing a site and I have a million version of the same icon, and then i have to change the icon. Is there a way to do this where I change one parent icon and all the subsequent child icons change the same way? Should I be using a different program if I am going to do this?

depending on what you specifically need to do, you can record your actions and set up a batch process.

Not sure i understand the question but if it's a million versions of the same icon why can't you just reference the the same icon and change that?
