Silver Letraset contains alloy compounds that will not adhere to the rub-down gum coating applied to the rub-down sheet, and they also break up the natural rubbery texture of the letraset compound making the letters more prone to crumble and collapse ... a bit like grains of sand in plasticine, the plasticine tears and shreds easier.
I fucking made all that up. I am the MASTER of utterly bullshit knowledge.

Well, I finally got it all done, and I must say, the silver looks awesome on a nice black plike. Whenever you've got a pitch that requires that little extra touch... Get some bloody rub downs in, they're niiiiiccceee (but can be a pain)
