- the ball can get a bit rubbery though if over-cooked7point34
- You've got to be careful because if the oil is too hot, the rubber melts.********
- D'oh, that can be taken to mean many things....********

yeah, I play. It's a great game. Not too hard to pick up either, best to find a mate who is the same level, go find a leisure center that has courts, hire a couple of rackets and have a go.
Friggin smarts when you get hit by the ball though.

where are you in the UK?

or if it's spaghetti squash, you can add it to pasta w/ sauce or eat it on its own.

Nah, it's easy to pick up, great workout; you'll just have to deal with hypercompetitive middle-aged men that wear way too short shorts and spout sexually laden sports euphemisms all the time. Oh and they sweat like pigs, too.

I used to play squash quite a bit since childhood. It's very easy to play (once you warm the ball up). You barely have to worry about hitting the ball out since you are using all 4 walls.
It's a very fast game where you have to think fast on your feet. Experience counts for a lot, knowing where to place the ball and how to manipulate your opponent's position.
Power doesn't count for nearly as much as a lot of guys would like to think (something to do with how the sound of hitting the ball hard echoes around the court).
Really good for cardio but less good for your knee joints.

public courts in London that I've played on are in Brixton, Victoria and I currently use Sobell which is next door to Arsenals stadium.

my dad used to play it all the time when i was younger.
he came home one day with a massive red swelling on the side of his skull and had been to the hospital - he took a rebound ball straight to the head.
my mum told him he was never allowed to play againlol

My Dad used to play against my mum when they were younger and she managed to hit him square on the arse when returning.
He told her she wasn't allowed to play again!
