Anyone have experience of projecting multiple video/images in a public space, a store, or other environment? by that I mean projection onto all of the walls and surfaces?
What was the process? What did you use?
In short, how did you go about it?

I saw something similar recently at the NAI in Rotterdam, it was a continuous projection that wrapped around 4 walls, it was brilliant...
no idea how they went about it...

...sounds more like it - was it part of an exhibition? Just looking at the website now, can you remember?
- yeah it was part of a student exhibition to design a site for the Olympics...neue75_bold

To do a contiguous image you need a video playback system to 'crossfade' the images. In other words, the edges of each projected image overlap and are blended into each other to appear as one big image. it involves painstakingly aligning the projectors and heavy image preparation. But the effect is killer.
I do animations for these types of presentations all the time.
It gets really interesting when you setup 20-30+ projectors and do 360° environments (full video projection wrapped all the way around the room) but you can imagine the setup for one of those gigs!
- Are you a vj anaya?
I'm in san diego, and I do a monthly featuring video artists, would love to have you!Meeklo

I do it weekly at nightclubs/ concerts, sometimes fashion or art shows.
For a set up like this
View from main floor
View from upstairs (where most of my rig was)I used 5 projectors (the larger one is behind the singer)
1 mac book pro
1 edirol v4 (small video mixer)
2 Distribution Amps (powered) that I bought at radio shack for under $80 a piece (chain linked)Modul8 (software)
1 Akai MPD 24 (midi controller)Modul8 will let you do extended video projection, so multiple sources are linked up visually, you could have a common background on all of them, and move a circle from screen 1 to screen 5 for example
