    I do it weekly at nightclubs/ concerts, sometimes fashion or art shows.

    For a set up like this


    View from main floor


    View from upstairs (where most of my rig was)

    I used 5 projectors (the larger one is behind the singer)

    1 mac book pro
    1 edirol v4 (small video mixer)
    2 Distribution Amps (powered) that I bought at radio shack for under $80 a piece (chain linked)

    Modul8 (software)
    1 Akai MPD 24 (midi controller)

    Modul8 will let you do extended video projection, so multiple sources are linked up visually, you could have a common background on all of them, and move a circle from screen 1 to screen 5 for example
